Reiki Classes
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese holistic healing technique that was
discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s. Reiki is defined as
“spiritually guided life force energy”. Reiki is a very simple yet powerful
technique that can be learned by anyone, but can only be channeled by
someone who has been attuned to it. Reiki is in that it is the only hands
on healing technique that can be used equally for healing others as well
as for self healing. Reiki is a gentle and effective technique used for stress
reduction and relaxation, and promotes deep healing at all levels. For more

Usui Level I
This level is a permanent attunement to Reiki healing. Once you are attuned to
Level I, you can channel Reiki energy for healing yourselfe and others. The
first degree is the foundation of all three degrees, but is complete in itself and
one never needs further training in order to use it to its fullest extent.
Prerequisite: participants must have received at least one full (one-hour) Reiki session prior to registering for this class. Class fee (per person)- $125
Usui Level II
This level requires further initiation for attunement to the symbols utilized in
Level II. The student is trained to use appropriate Second Degree symbols
which provide an increase in power for use in a more professional practice
of these skills.
Prerequisite: Reiki Level I and at least one month of consistent practice. Please check the class schedule and email Mary to make sure there is availability in this class before paying.
Class fee (per person)- $250
Usui Master Level
In this Reiki Master training, the student is attuned to the full extent of the Reiki energy. This class is offered in two parts; which lead to the Reiki Master Practitioner and the Reiki Master Teacher designations. The two training sessions are offered on separate days, so students can sign up for one or both classes. Students who are interested in learning advanced practices but have no desire to teach can take the first class; those who are interested in teaching will be required to take both classes.
Prerequisite: Reiki Level 2 and 6 months of consistent practice since your Level II training. In addition, you should have completed (and documented) a minimum of 25 full Reiki sessions since your Level II training. This training is by application only; please email or call Mary to apply for this training.
Class fees (per person)-
Reiki Master Practitioner (1 day)- $300
Reiki Master Teacher (2 days)- $500
Usui Reiki ParentsTM Class (Level I)
Reiki is an easy-to-learn natural method of healing that parents can use to treat common childhood problems, such as temper tantrums, common fears, sleep problems, learning problems, sibling rivalry, coping with change, illnesses/ injuries, feeding problems, separation anxiety, etc. Reiki is a powerful, yet gentle and nurturing technique that is especially well-suited for parents to use with their children, including children with special needs. This class is appropriate for parents, grandparents, childcare professionals, and other interested individuals.
Prerequisite: participants must have received at least one full (one-hour) Reiki session prior to registering for this class. Please check the class schedule and email Mary to make sure there is availability in this class before paying.
Class fee (per person)- $125
Reiki Certification classes are scheduled on an ongoing basis. Payments for all Reiki certification classes is required one week in advance of the class.
